How to Measure Your Ring Size at Home
Method 1: Using a Ring You Already Own
What you need:
• A ring that fits your desired finger well
• A ruler
Steps:
- Place your ring on a flat surface
- Measure the inside diameter of the ring in millimeters
- Match the diameter to the chart above
💡 Tip: This is the most accurate method if you have a ring that fits perfectly.
Method 2: Using String or Paper
What you need:
• A thin strip of paper or string
• A pen or marker
• A ruler
Steps:
- Wrap the paper or string around the base of your finger (where the ring will sit)
- Mark where the paper or string overlaps
- Measure the length in millimeters
- Match the circumference to the chart above
💡 Tip: Don't pull too tight—the string should slide over your knuckle comfortably.
Method 3: Printable Ring Sizer

Steps:
- Print the PDF at 100% scale (no scaling or "fit to page")
- Cut out the ring sizer
- Follow the instructions on the template
- Match your measurement to the chart
⚠️ Important: Ensure your printer settings are set to "Actual Size" or "100%" for accurate measurements.
Tips for Accurate Sizing
✅ Measure at the end of the day – Fingers swell slightly throughout the day
✅ Measure the correct finger – Ring sizes vary between fingers
✅ Consider the width – Wider bands may require a half size up
✅ Account for knuckles – The ring should fit comfortably over your knuckle but not be too loose at the base
✅ Measure multiple times – Take 2–3 measurements to ensure accuracy
✅ Consider temperature – Fingers are smaller in cold weather
Between Sizes?
If you're between sizes, we generally recommend:
• For wider bands (4mm+): Size up
• For thin, delicate bands: Choose your true size or size down slightly
• If your knuckle is larger: Choose the size that fits over your knuckle comfortably
